OH goodness. Snoopy is the cutest around. He is a 54 pound Dalmatian mix and about 3 years old. This beauty was rescued from MDAS. He is very laid back and likes nothing more than lounging on your couch. He is crate and house trained. Snoopy is dog selective, but does well after a proper introduction. He would prefer to live in a home without cats! Will he be your new best friend??

Dalmatian Mix    Age: Puppy

Pongo is an 18 month old Dalmation Bulldog mix. Being very playful, he loves to run around and play with the other dogs, as well as bringing you a toy to play tug with. He does enjoy lounging on couches, but will find a cozy dog bed to lie on if one is available. Overall, Pongo is a very loving, affectionate boy who also has enough energy for an active family. He is housetrained, as well as crate trained. For more information on Pongo, contact Sherry Dillon at theartofpaws@gmail.com

I have a Staffordshire Terrier/ Dalmatian that I can no longer keep. I adopted her from the shelter 1 year ago. She is very lovable and gentle when Mello. She is good with kids and is house trained. She is neutered, shots are up to date. The problem is that she escapes easily. She can jump my 6ft privacy fence and my neighbors' fence too. I've installed an electric fence, but it doesn't stop her. She will run through an open door quickly and I can't catch her. Once out, she will jump my neighbor's fence to get their cats. She has even gotten a cat, but luckily, there were no serious injuries. My neighbors have threaten law suites. I can't ... (Read More)risk it any longer. Please help me find another home. (Less)

Gracie is a special girl ready for a family. I rescued her from a kill shelter, she had clearly been neglected and was left pregnant. Sadly she gave birth and her pups were sick from shelter exposed diseases and died shortly after, even with 24/7 vet care. She was a good mom and devastated after her loss. She is now recovered and such a sweetheart. She loves dogs, cats, and kids. Her favorite things to do are cuddle and go out to social events and get lots of attention. I have taken her on vacations with me and she is awesome to travel with. She is 2 1/2 years old, house and crate trained. Spayed and current on all vaccines. Adoption fee is ...     Petey is said to be a pitbull mix, (we think possibly dalmation) estimated to be about 1 year old, and he weighs 56lbs. This boy is deaf, but he does pay attention to your every move. He is very sweet, takes treats very well. He is very playful, would rather play with you than toys. We are working on getting him adjusted here, then we will test him with dogs, so an update will come soon. If interested in meeting our little rascal Petey, please stop by Groomingdales Bed & Biscuit in Tampa. -

Hi the rescue I work with has saved this Mom and Pups on their last day at the shelter. The pups are now weaned and this family is almost ready to find forever homes. Pups are all little sweeties and Mom is sweet and friendly with people but she has been having some issues with other dogs. For that reason we think she should go to an only dog home. They will all be UTD and spay and neuter will also be done. If you think you might like Mom...Jazz...or one of her sweet little pups please let us know.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Florida
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.

lnteresting Dalmatian Trivia Low-Cost Florida Spay & Neuter Clinics
The high energy level of the Dalmatian can be attributed to the fact that the dogs were bred to accompany horse-drawn carriages. Dalmatians are traditional firehouse mascots. Dalmatians may have first been perfected in Yugoslavia or Croatia but the breed dates back thousands of years to ancient Egyptian times.
