Dalmatian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi! My name is Max! My foster mom adopted me from Orange County Animal Services. I am between 1-2 years old, neutered male. I am a really good dog with lots of energy. I really would love a home with another dog to play with. I try to play with the Maltese who lives here but she won't play with me. :( I did really well with my first visit to Woof. I can't wait to go back. There are lots of dogs to play with. I am house broken and crate trained. My foster mom has had a trainer for a few training sessions because I had never been on a leash or in a car so the car ride was all new to me. We are also working on my jumping on people. I ... (Read More)just want to greet them and to play. Foster Mom Talking Now: Max is a really sweet dog. I agreed to foster him because he looked so cute at OCAS and his time was up!! He is a loving dog, he doesn't realize how big he is and would love to climb in your lap if you would let him. He has never demonstrated any aggression at all to people or to other dogs. He is getting good about walking on a leash and a friend of mine runs him. He needs lots of exercise so hopefully you have another dog for him to play with or are a runner so he can get his exercise. My husband also runs him on the bike. He loves to be right with us but will hang out in the backyard. He has never tried to dig or run away. He is not a barker and has slept peacefully at night in his kennel since the first night we brought him home without waking us up. :) Please contact me for more info: Dusty Sutton (407) 697-0033 (Less)

His name was originally Big Bear and still mostly answers to that. Frankie ... not so much. He weighs about 48#, and is your average energy and temperament of a puppy almost 10 months old. He is the last of an 11 pup litter; the mother is a Dalmatian lab mix; he's black with the tell tale black Dalmatian marking on his tongue. He walks on a leash, but could use some extra help; knows basic commands, sit, stay. Good with other dogs, even older dogs and younger kids.

He is very sweet, takes treats very well. He is very playful, would rather play with you than toys. We are working on getting him adjusted here, then we will test him with dogs, so an update will come soon. If interested in meeting our little rascal Petey, please stop by Groomingdales Bed & Biscuit in Tampa. -

Hi the rescue I work with has saved this Mom and Pups on their last day at the shelter. The pups are now weaned and this family is almost ready to find forever homes. Pups are all little sweeties and Mom is sweet and friendly with people but she has been having some issues with other dogs. For that reason we think she should go to an only dog home. They will all be UTD and spay and neuter will also be done. If you think you might like Mom...Jazz...or one of her sweet little pups please let us know.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Florida
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.
