I want to sincerely thank the members of this site for helping me rehome my Dalmatian mix, Dottie. I got so many positive messages and so much interest and I was able to rehome her quickly. I am so relieved that she now has a safe and loving home. Rescue Me is so wonderful! Thank you so much for all you do!

Wow, what a success! Long story, but we had rescued a shelter dog in Texas and had her kenneled till we could pick her up, Later on, I was asked if I knew of anyone wanting a couple of more rescues they had. I told them I knew of a great site I could help and post them on. Within a few days, I had many inquiries on the Dalmatian mix, Paris. Even though I was in Georgia and the dog in Texas, I figured it would reach more people. In fact, it was the second caller who adopted Paris even after she told me she'd rather not adopt without seeing her first. She called the rescue, and I guess she changed her mind. A free transport delivered Paris to new owner this past Monday after having to wait on flooding issues in Texas but well worth the wait. She says Paris gets along great with her other Dalmation; perfect match! Thank you, Rescue Me!

I posted this beautiful Dalmatian on Friday and had over 20 calls and emails within a matter of hours!! He was claimed by a Dalmatian Rescue and leaves tomorrow. He already has a new forever home waiting for him. Trust me, I'll be posting all of the others... Rescue Me was a life saver!!! Thank you again!!!

I was worried that since Milo was not a small puppy that we would have a hard time finding a suitable home for him. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of responses I received. I was sad to give him up, but pleased to have placed him with a family with two other Dalmatians for him to play with on their 50 acre estate. They were so wonderful, I am sure he will have a happy home there. Thanks, Rescue Me.

Journey was adopted in less than 24 hours from the time we posted him on Rescue Me. Posting was easy and the results were almost immediate. I had several inquiries, even from several states away and greatly appreciate this site. Journey needed a good home and we are very pleased with the individuals who chose to adopt him. After talking at length with the adoptees, I'm sure he will be well taken care of, which is a relief to us. He will be missed. Enjoy your new home, Journey!

Saw Maximus on Rescue Me and fell in love with him. Max is now in his forever home with us living on a horse farm with his new brother, Zeus, also a Dalmatian mix. Max and Zeus run and play all day and are great friends. Kudos to Jeff Gold and all the volunteers who work so hard to make a difference in the lives of these precious dogs and the people who adopt them. God bless you all for caring!

Sparky is such a sweet boy - part pointer, dalmatian, and boxer. A wonderful family saw his posting on Rescue Me!, and contacted me within 24 hours. They met him today and fell in love. He is now a member of their family and will have a fabulous home to sleep in, backyard to play in, and another rescue dog to play with all day. Thank you Rescue Me! for allowing me to post and for your great editing capabilities and blog. I rescued a Great Dane from your site in December 2012 and she has been a constant delight. You are one of the best groups online. Bless you.

We rescued Sissy from a family who no longer wanted her, and was going to euthanize her. Our family was told she was a senior dog who was not trainable, did not listen to commands, wouldn't eat, etc... Within the past few weeks, we have all gotten to know Sissy better. She does listen to commands, lets us know when she needs to go out, brings us her leash when she wants to walk, has a healthy appetite, and has been a joy for our family. Both our dogs have now become best friends, running in the backyard, going out for bathroom breaks together, sharing their food and toys, and walking side by side during walks. They are inseparable. Where one dog is, the other one follows. We feel Sissy truly is in her forever home and forever in our hearts, and will be keeping her.

Harold was rehomed through Rescue Me's Dalmatian Rescue. He has gone to a great home in the country. We thought he was a biggish dog, but he is now living with a Great Dane who makes Harold look small! Harold, however, has so much energy he can easily wear out the bigger dog. Every one in his new family loves him.

Thank you for such a wonderful organization. Thanks to you, and reading about the inspiring rescue stories and the temperament of Dalmatians we decided to keep our little Annie. With her being deaf we knew that wherever she went it would be a challenge for her to adapt, and we didn't want to put her through that again. She has learned hand signals, has never had an accident in the house and such a pleaser. We could not be more proud of her and her accomplishments. Her favorite pastime when she is outside is chasing her shadow, and now leaves falling to the ground. She is so expressive and full of life I cannot imagine my life without her.

Thank you so much for this service! Spotter was adopted this morning by a wonderful couple. They are very knowledgeable with Dalmatians and have many years experience with them. This is a very important part of owning a dalmatian, too many people think that they are a novel pet but they are usually more energy than the typical home can provide for. He will also have two other dals in his new home, so he will be very happy to have furry friends to play with. It was heart breaking for me to put him up for adoption but I know that he will be well cared for and loved! He is on his way to Maine to get settled in with his new family and I just know that he will love the horses, dogs, and room to run. He will be forever in my heart and I'm happy that he will be in a place that he truly deserves to be!!! Thank you again (3

I met an angel today. She teaches at my favorite school, the University of Georgia, and truly loves animals. She lives on 50 acre equestrian farm with her husband, a horse whisperer, 48 horses, 6 cats, and now 3 dogs (Trixie, who is a sport and extremely smart, Trevor (a beautiful 2 year old Dalmatian), and now old man Sparky, who is very happy with everyone. Thanks for caring so much. I LOVE your wonderful organization. This is truly a blessing and forever happy ending.

Hi! Jeff Gold, I want to thank you for creating such a good organization, it work perfectly for me finding a new home for Manchas my dalmatian, I received lots of calls interesting in rescuing the dog and I decided for one. This person had one female dalmatian for 14 yrs and the dog past away so I thought she would be the perfect person to give the care that Manchas needs..I will always miss Manchas but I know he is going to be in good care..it only took me 6 days to find a home for him.. Thanks to RescueMe.Org

We posted our dalmatian, Mauer on RescueMe.Org and instantly had responses from several candidates. I was able to do phone interviews with several people, all who have had experience with dals in the past and knew the breed. We did meet with a family that had everything we wanted for Mauer. Working from home, no children, runners, previously owed a male dalmation... it was a perfect fit. They were seriously wonderful... like too good to be true. Giviing Mauer up was a very tough decision for us to make as Mauer is an amazing companion, like the dog of a lifetime.... I'll never forget him and will always miss him, but they made the transition so easy on us by sending photos and texting updates back and forth. I am so very grateful to have had the chance to meet with them, and that they have opened their hearts to Mauer. I can rest at peace knowing my couch potato is probably on the couch tonight with his new mom and dad. Thank you Matt and Brianna, and thank you Rescue Me!

Our Baby has a new home today with a big yard, a sweet young lady to play with, and a stay-at-home mom to help her become the friend she was meant to be. She had my heart from the moment I saw her. I cannot imagine why anyone would just dump her by the side of the road, but I am very happy to have found her a loving family with the help of this site. Thank you for keeping this site going.

Hi Jeff - I love my dog but the senior community I live in was giving me a hard time about her size. When I told them I had to put her up for adoption with Rescue Me! they relented. She's still here at home with me and I am very happy. Your website did a great job. It evoked sympathy of people who were just living by the cold 'rules' without really looking at the dog herself. My posting on Rescue Me! prompted them to take a second and closer look at what a good dog I have. So thank you very much, and your website really did help me! Regards - Diana

It was easy to use the website to find a pet that would fit in with our family well. It took about a month to finally get him home, but he is adjusting well, and everybody just adores him! His brother and mom were also rescued just days before we got him home, all three rescued within days of each other, what a great time of the year! Hannah Post

Hobo has been adopted, and I just removed him the listing from your web-site. He was adopted from an Albuquerque, New Mexico dalmatian rescue person's home, where he was transferred about 2 or 3 months ago. The lady who had the dog was an excellent foster caretaker for dalmatians, and asked that I leave the posting up so that people could be referred to her, as she had other dalmatians in need of homes. She took care of Hobo (I later called him Sparky) for some time because he needed a good bit of nurturing and socialization prior to permanent placement. I appreciate your website. This is the first time I have ever tried to rescue and find a home for a dog, and I have been very gratified at the extremely helpful and humane resources available through which to do this. I at first tried to personally find a home for the dog, but when I encountered your web site and a local animal rescue person, I realized that it was in the dog's best interests to be placed in a foster home that would nurture him until the right person or family could be found. I was even told that if for some reason a placement did not work out, the foster home would take the dog back until the right home could be found. Today I will place a check for $25.00 in the mail to the address below. I appreciate the service that your web site provides. Judy Bennett
