Dalmatian Mix    Age: Senior

Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello, my name is Blue and I am in need of a forever home. I am an 11 year old pitbull. Please don't let the breed scare you! I am a very gentle, loving boy who is great with humans and even kids. Because I love the attention so much my one down fall is I prefer not to share any love or attention so I am not good around other dogs. I recently lost my owner of 11 years and it was just the two of us. At one point I was exposed to other dogs with intense training by Lorenzo Dog Training and so I have very good manners. I know all my commands, house and crate broke, I never bark. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots. My vet ... (Read More)recently told my foster mom that I have the health of an 8 year old. I am getting up there in age so I truly enjoy sleeping most of the day and love a good snuggle. My foster home as two other dogs and if you just put a mussel on me I can roam the house with them and I keep to myself. If you know of anyone looking for a great companion, young or old please tell them about me as I am in desperate need of my forever home. I come with my own luggage and a few training sessions if needed. I am just looking for some to me. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00041Boogie (female)

Dalmatian Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Boogie is a 2 year old spayed, female Dalmatian mix who was rescued from Pima Animal Care Center because she has Valley Fever. Boogie also has a bone lesion on her right back leg, so diligent attention to her medication is required. She is very calm and enjoys getting love and being pet. While getting love, Boogie will try to give you tons of kisses. Boogie loves other dogs & has been around cats with no problems as well. She loves to play and becomes a true puppy, playing until she just passes out. Despite her bone lesion, Boogie loves to go on long walks and she's gentle and polite on the leash. She is good in the house, loves to ... (Read More)freely roam around and loves treats (gentle taking them too). She loves to sleep on soft things, so a fluffy bed is a must. Boogie can be a little nervous when she first meets you, but it doesn't take long (or many treats) for her to be happy to see you and smoother your face with kisses. She is working on house-breaking as she has never been taught, but with a little more practice, we know Boogie will get there. She is crated during the day with no problems. Boogie comes up to date on shots, micro chipped and full of love!! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Arizona
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.

lnteresting Dalmatian Trivia Low-Cost Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinics
The high energy level of the Dalmatian can be attributed to the fact that the dogs were bred to accompany horse-drawn carriages. Dalmatians are popular in the media; a good example of their charismatic appeal is the Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians. Ten to twelve percent of Dalmatians are deaf.
