My name is Nova. I love people and should start out as an only dog. Once I get to know other dogs, I warm up to them. I am fine with kids. Not so much with cats. In fact, I will chase cats, so I shouldn't live with them. I am leash trained and walk well on a leash. I have worked with a trainer and know 'sit' and 'down'. I love jogging and riding next to you on your bike (just tie my leash around the stem of your seat and off we go!). I like riding in cars too. I love ear scratches and belly rubs. I am looking for someone to foster me or for someone to give me my forever home. I would love a back yard to run around in and would love someone who would take me on walks, runs and/or bike rides. I have been waiting quite a while for my prince or princess charming to find me. I have been spayed, microchipped, professionally trained and have all of my shots. I would love if you would come and meet me. Call Diane at 925-209-6480. I was saved once from the E-List at county. Maybe I will get lucky and get saved again by a loving couple or family to whom I intend to bring love and joy. (Less)

Hi! My name is Lilly. I am a super sweet 3.5 year old Dalmatian mix. I am potty trained, crate trained, and I adore kids! I am looking for a new home because I can't get along with my doggie sister. I enjoy playing, running, and snuggling. Please let me know if I could be your forever Valentine!

Rescue Me ID: 16-12-20-00236JOY (female)
Joy is a mature six-year-old lady who has come to Home Fur Good from the county shelter. She is a unique blend of Labrador and Dalmatian, which gives her all her beautiful spots, and she weighs 52 pounds. When you are hanging out with Joy, she is serene and tranquil and just happy to be by your side. She is very loving and enjoys being beside you as the world goes on around you. When other dogs are around, or if there is commotion, Joy's anxiety level will increase. She will appreciate a quiet home with low activity. Joy will also do best in a home with no kids or older kids. You will have an affectionate best friend when you bring a little Joy into your life. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-12-08-00169Biskit (male)
Courtesy Post: Biskit was a neighborhood stray that hung out around 59th Ave and Glendale. He came to my attention when I was told about Sweetie. She had an anal prolapse and I took her to the Humane Society where they were unable to help her. Biskit was so bonded to her, he spent the next day looking everywhere for her. I couldn't just leave him. He's neutered, UTD on shots, and is currently with David Michael Sanders board/train at ZenK9 Obedience & Boarding. He gets along GREAT with other dogs. He should be in a home with other dogs as he does not like to be alone. Unknown about cats at this time. Biskit is very treat motivated, hence the name Biskit. He loves butt scratches. He has a GORGEOUS smile and is a very happy dog. You should see him sit and prance! He sits like a PERFECT gentleman. His trot prance is amazing. He looks like a show dog with his perfect form. He is AMAZING! Call Debbie if interested! 602-319-2615. He is neutered & vaccinated. Homecheck required :) (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-14-00023Diamond (female)
Diamonds are forever - right? This gem is looking for her FOREVER home! Diamond is two years old and her previous owner gave her up due to a move. Diamond has lots of energy and would enjoy someone who has an active lifestyle-training for the Ironman? How about the Irondog? She is house trained and crate trained also. Her hobbies include chasing crickets on her nightly walks and splashing in her puppy pool. Diamond loves kids and is always drawn to them at our local park. She would love to be invited to a pick up game of soccer. Diamond is graduate of basic obedience classes so she has beauty and brains! Her instructor says she's very sweet and very smart. Diamond would do well as an only dog or with a submissive large male dog that allows her to be the alpha. She will need a strong handler to help her with her impulse control. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Arizona
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.
