|Rescue Me ID: 15-08-20-00615Athena (female)|
Athena had found herself at the shelter on the euthanasia list because she is deaf. She is a young 1-2 year old girl who deserves to live and not loose her life because she cannot hear. She doesn't care, and either do we. She is one of the happiest dogs ever! She is all puppy in her energy level, however she is potty trained. Athena's new family will have to be on board with learning how to use sign language to communicate with her. We are also looking for an active family that will engage her in play, training, and exercise. She is super dog friendly, and loves every single person she encounters. She has a zest for life that is contagious. If you are looking for a young, athletic, sweet bundle of love called Athena, let us know!! As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip (with lifetime registration!), and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spay/neutered at time of adoption, you will be required to transport the dog to and from the dropoff point on the day of surgery. You will receive 6 mths of heartworm preventative medication. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and you will also receive a $25 gift card from Choice Pet Market. Our dogs come with free training classes. We strive to give you a well rounded foundation for you to build upon with your new dog. We consider the whole dog, from nutrition, to vet care to training. |Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00273Blue (male)|
Hello, my name is Blue and I am in need of a forever home. I am an 11 year old pitbull. Please don't let the breed scare you! I am a very gentle, loving boy who is great with humans and even kids. Because I love the attention so much my one down fall is I prefer not to share any love or attention so I am not good around other dogs. I recently lost my owner of 11 years and it was just the two of us. At one point I was exposed to other dogs with intense training by Lorenzo Dog Training and so I have very good manners. I know all my commands, house and crate broke, I never bark. I am neutered and up to date on all my shots. My vet recently told my foster mom that I have the health of an 8 year old. I am getting up there in age so I truly enjoy sleeping most of the day and love a good snuggle. My foster home as two other dogs and if you just put a mussel on me I can roam the house with them and I keep to myself. If you know of anyone looking for a great companion, young or old please tell them about me as I am in desperate need of my forever home. I come with my own luggage and a few training sessions if needed. I am just looking for some to me. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00041Abigail (female)|
Abigail is a 2 year old spayed, female Dalmatian mix who was rescued from Pima Animal Care Center because she has Valley Fever. Abi also has a bone lesion on her right back leg, so diligent attention to her medication is required. She is very calm and enjoys getting love and being pet. While getting love, she will try to give you tons of kisses. Abi loves other dogs & has been around cats with no problems as well. She loves to play and becomes a true puppy, playing until she just passes out. Despite her bone lesion, she loves to go on long walks and she's gentle and polite on the leash. She is good in the house, loves to freely roam around and loves treats (gentle taking them too). She loves to sleep on soft things, so a fluffy bed is a must. Abi can be a little nervous when she first meets you, but it doesn't take long (or many treats) for her to be happy to see you and smoother your face with kisses. She is working on house-breaking as she has never been taught, but with a little more practice, we know Abi will get there. She is crated during the day with no problems. Abigail comes up to date on shots, micro chipped and full of love!! (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Arizona|
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.
