Rescue Me ID: 17-05-14-00075Tiger (male)

Dalmatian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tiger is the most chill dog you will meet:-) He has an adorable personality that makes you giggle after a hard day at work. He isn't a high maintenance dog and his energy level is low perfect for someone who may be retired and would like a buddy that's easy going and perfectly happy going for a short walk once in a while and occasionally throwing a stick for him to run after. He looses interest in playing fetch very quickly . We always think of him as our refined rescue dog too high class to play fetch if there was a GQ magazine for dogs he would be on the cover looking debonair and dashing. Another great thing about Tiger is his ability to ... (Read More)warn you when someone is approaching your home or is near by. Once, teenagers in the neighborhood we live in playing ditch em' were hiding in our backyard in the middle of the night. He started off growling and then barked to let us know several more had shown up. He is great for security. He has always been well trained and doesn't jump on you or company. He knows all basic commands. Although, saying goodbye to him will break my heart and especially since he is such a good boy it is in his best interest. He is one of five rescue dogs that we have at our home. Our latest rescue and Tiger do not seem to get along. Tiger will be and has several times already been attacked by the other dogs. He had serious wounds and so we have to be extremely careful and keep them separate. Before we had the last rescue dog everyone got on just fine and he is great will all other dogs. The other rescue dog has some problems we are trying to fix and tiger doesn't get the attention he so deserves. He would be very happy to be your only pet or live with female dogs. I know you will love him as we do and he needs someone to give him the chance to show you how wonderful he truly is. House broken and fixed with current shots. (Less)

Dalmatian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

My name is Nova. I love people and should start out as an only dog. Once I get to know other dogs, I warm up to them. I am fine with kids. Not so much with cats. In fact, I will chase cats, so I shouldn't live with them. I am leash trained and walk well on a leash. I have worked with a trainer and know 'sit' and 'down'. I love jogging and riding next to you on your bike (just tie my leash around the stem of your seat and off we go!). I like riding in cars too. I love ear scratches and belly rubs. I am looking for someone to foster me or for someone to give me my forever home. I would love a back yard to run around in and would love someone ... (Read More)who would take me on walks, runs and/or bike rides. I have been waiting quite a while for my prince or princess charming to find me. I have been spayed, microchipped, professionally trained and have all of my shots. I would love if you would come and meet me. Call Diane at 925-209-6480. I was saved once from the E-List at county. Maybe I will get lucky and get saved again by a loving couple or family to whom I intend to bring love and joy. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Arizona
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.

lnteresting Dalmatian Trivia Low-Cost Arizona Spay & Neuter Clinics
The high energy level of the Dalmatian can be attributed to the fact that the dogs were bred to accompany horse-drawn carriages. Ten to twelve percent of Dalmatians are deaf.
