He is a very energetic dog. He has been really friendly since we got him. Neighbors, people in dog park loves him. He has been living with us for 2 years now, But, due to our condition we had to find him a new home. We found a home for him through one of our friend. After keeping him 15-20 days they said the dog was aggressive towards his wife and was returned. we finally managed to keep him with us secretly without letting the landlord know because there is no pet allowed here. Finally we found a home for him in NY but we got a call from the next adopter saying the dog bit his wife. We went to Ny to get him and found out yes he did bite ... (Read More)her. We were shocked to see that because there is no sign of aggression with us. He was still playing with her and she also said its not him. Something might have happened to him that ended in biting her but they were playing together. She didn't wanted to return him but they had 3 dogs so there was no other option but to return. she was giving a treat to him and other two dogs thats when he bite her while giving the cookie to other dogs. Later they took him to a vet and we called a vet too and both of them said that the dog is possessive for food and he cannot live in a house with other dogs. I have to leave the country for work till next year and there is no one to look after him. I have got the final notice from the landlord and i'm in the situation of leaving my apartment too. We still don't want the 'put to sleep' option coz we think he deserves a second chance. He will love you and your family and be a good companion. He is with us right now, all of the people in apartment love him, pet him and play with him. There is no sign of aggression here. I sent him to my cousins house for 1 month before too, he was good with kids. and he was very friendly with their guests too.. We cannot keep him due to our economy and inconvenient condition. If there is any owners who love dogs and who believes in his second chance, i would be happy to give him. Even though he is a good dog we don't want anyone with kids just to avoid the risk coz even though he is not aggressive here he has shown a sign of aggression in a new home and its always safe to avoid the chance of an incident. A great and commanding leader in the family could turn him to an obedient dog. He is a beautiful, he knows lot of tricks and he is always willing to learn new stuff. Any people will fall in love on a first sight. (Less)

Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.

The high energy level of the Dalmatian can be attributed to the fact that the dogs were bred to accompany horse-drawn carriages. Dalmatians are popular in the media; a good example of their charismatic appeal is the Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians. Dalmatians are traditional firehouse mascots.
