Dalmatian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR UTAH RESCUE. Charli is an Angel, except when her people are away from home. She is good with kids, cats, dogs, and everyone she meets. She is also fun to watch rearrange your shoes and slippers without doing any damage. Until you leave, then her anxiety at being alone causes trouble. No dog can have 100% company and exercise can sure help as well as company from a dog companion. There are ways to 'fix' this issue but it will take time. She has been adopted twice but returned due to the owners not finding the secret to Charli. The rescue that has Charli is near SLC UT where there is a ride to CO for her, or in ... (Read More)other directions. The current rescue will make it happen. They love her and only want a forever home. Is there a home where Charli will be taught it is okay to be alone sometimes? Contact us for contact information. beth@dalmatianrescueco.org Back (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Dalmatian in Utah
Dalmatian Dogs can make good pets in Utah if they match your IifestyIe. Dalmatians are energetic, companionable dogs. Dalmatians need to be with people and may become despondent if left alone. A Dalmatian makes a wonderful pet for families with children but should be supervised with very small kids. Dalmatians are good with other household pets but can be combative with dogs they do not know. Dalmatians have a slight tendency to be high strung or timid if they do not have enough exercise or socialization. Dalmatians are smart but can be stubborn. They respond very well to early, consistent obedience training. Dalmatians need a home with a good sized yard.

lnteresting Dalmatian Trivia Low-Cost Utah Spay & Neuter Clinics
The high energy level of the Dalmatian can be attributed to the fact that the dogs were bred to accompany horse-drawn carriages. Dalmatians are popular in the media; a good example of their charismatic appeal is the Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians. Dalmatians are traditional firehouse mascots.
